Follow-up is essential to achieve the best results possible from your surgery. Post-op packages range from 6 post-op appointments, and then pay as you go, through to 20 post-op appointments all inclusive over 2 years.
Each package includes:
- Surgeon, anaesthetist, and hospital fee
- Hospital stay in a private room with ensuite
- Follow-up with:
- surgeon
- bariatric clinical nurse specialist
- dietitian
- Monitoring for potential clinical and nutritional complications
- Daily motivational text messages for 2 years
- Fitness programme tailored to your needs and location
Some packages also include follow-up with:
- health and wellness coach/personal trainer
- psychologist

Whilst we endeavour to keep the cost of weight loss surgery fixed to the above prices, there may be other unforeseeable additional costs to you, such as a repair of a large hiatus Hernia (small hiatus hernias are repaired free of charge), extra nights stay, extra equipment or medications, blood transfusions or xrays.

- your initial appointment to discuss suitability for surgery including the most appropriate weight loss operation for you
- Surgeon review (if required) $150
- a follow-up consultation may be required to review notes, investigations, and answer any further questions you may have
You also need pre-operative appointments with:
- Dietitian – 2 appointments
- to review your dietary history, discuss pre-op optifast, post-op diet, and multivitamins
- Health and wellness coach/personal trainer – 1 appointment
- to assess your motivation, set goals, and develop a personalised fitness programme
